Linux is a solid system, but as it inherits pretty much all its quirks as well. I see at the end you try to get the directory listing with dir, ls is the linux equivalent. Use rm with extreme caution and remember that there's no 'Are you sure' prompt with Linux. While Linux is a more powerful OS than Windows(in my opinion), this comes at a cost. @shizoor I'm not a linux hater. I actually have it on my laptop. This was just a VM showing what would happen if you use it.

@12ihaveamac Don't get me wrong. I wasn't dissing, the haters handbook is just a really good read. It's helped me avoid a few pitfalls.
