Stock 160 amp alt, Yellow top optima battery, 100 farad kenikit capacitor, 1/0 Rockford fosgate power & ground wires, 8 awg speaker wires, Alpine CDA-9855 head unit , Jensen dvd in-dash player, 4 - 12 L7 kickers dual 4 ohm, 1- Kicker 2500.1 ( pushing 2960 watts RMS @ 2ohm), 1 - Custom built boxeach kicker tuned at 38hz. I dont remember the cu.ft. per sub at the moment but I will post it later.

@chevyhoe08 you said your amp does 2960 rms@ 2 ohms? funny.... they only do that much when at 1 ohm..... and a capacitor..... LOL..... i just chuckled..... Your system would be good if you got rid of the jensen garbage ass deck, got a real battery for in the rear(id say 2 big batteries in the rear) and 2 runs of 1/0 or bigger from the alt to the rear batteries..... otherwise you will never get the real true rms from that amp....

@chevyhoe08 And thats at 14.4.... with a single battery and a Cap you would never stay over 13V at that power... so try more lik 2krms at most...... It does not matter what the sheet tells you your setup in this video would never hold nearly 3k rms with that electrical.....

@Jacobbz206 actually is 3 batts, 2 optimas and one small kinetic battery. no one said i did 3000rms constant, but i do keep 3000 going for a couple of minutes. until i run out of battery bank.

ahhh shat... Basically all you needed to say is this... Due to a few variables like Ohm Rise which is guaranteed, and Voltage drop you won't be seeing 2900 rms out of your amp. Almost all Kicker amps including the 2500 are rated at 2 ohms. So there for 29xx watts at 2 ohms. Theres just too many variables for ANYONE to get exactly what their amp says it will do. However some amps will increase and get more rms watts the higher the load rises to. There's really no need to call someone out.
