@dnsmithnc When I said that I accept the divide and conquer concept and taxing a greater percentage of the population, I did not mean I agree with those tactics. I only meant that they are methods used by the rich to gain control. In regard to socialism, there is no political/economic system used on Earth that can be entirely one category. Pure democracy leads to anarchy for example. Pure capitalism leads to giant monopolies, stifles opportunities, free trade and, innovation.

There is some truth to what he says. I would disagree regarding socialism. All socialism says is, lets share a little bit for the common good. It also says, unbridled capitalism will quickly lead to a plutocracy in that the richest will have too much leverage to be able to compete against. Thus a little control of the means of production such as the antitrust laws are needed. Public schools, fire departments, etc., all socialistic. It is not communism. However, it can be taken too far.

If the plan were to make the State the family then, the Rockefellers certainly have failed. One would think that the success of such a plan could be measured by the level of patriotism or nationalism. Both have steadily declined over the last several decades and could be at an all time low. I can certainly accept the divide and conquer concept and, the need to tax a greater percentage of the population. However, that might not have worked either in that a greater % are on the welfare roles.

@FrancisGalton It's ALL part of the communist agenda. Why do we have a CENTRAL bank in the US in the form of the Federal Reserve? It's item#5 on the Communist Manifesto. Why do we have free public education, #10 on the Communist Manifesto (CM). A heavy progressive income tax..#2 on the CM, State owned factories #7 (GM and other bailouts which gave the gov controlling interest) all planned!. Buying out small farms to make them Factory farms.. #9 on the CM etc.

@FrancisGalton to nothing to help him in his studies of the theoretical physics or the photoelectric effect which eventually helped establish quantum theory. It does not surprise me that many proponents of public education were eugenicists. I've said many times the same thing was true for some of the earliest leaders of radical feminism as well. Margaret Sanger was one of these early leaders. The whole thing is part of the Marxist/communist agenda.

@FrancisGalton Yes, Einstein had degrees, that doesn't mean he USED them or that anything he learned from them benefited his studies into general and special relativity. It all BORED him because he saw it all as old, outdated and irrelevant. If I get a degree in Japanese history does that mean just because I have a degree that that is the reason why I was able to invent an anti-gravity device or something else.. no. Sure his degree's were in his field, but they still did little..
