While south of Bison, Kansas on May 25, I was filming a large rotating wall cloud. I turned around at 4:48 PM and saw a large landspout tornado.

  • @666motherfucker13 that and not associated with super cell activity. plus the difference in size and shape

  • Man it would be so cool if someone from the Jackass crew would ride a Honda 125 motorbike into that bugger.

  • i have saw 1 i tot it was a dust devil 0.0

  • that is a gustato

  • Very nice video!

  • yeah i didnt read youre comment right

  • the actual difference between a tornado and a lanspout is that a landspout is not asociated with a mesocyclone and thus usualy not able to be much stronger than F0 altough extreme landspouts have been recorded that last 15 minutes and were F3

  • F5XD

  • That's a landspout. It's easy to tell because it's translucent and the laminar flow of the vortex. It's still considered a tornado though, and can be damaging.

  • how much damage can one produce?
