Here is my first cello video - One of my all time favourite pieces, so I did my best!

It sounds better with piano accompanyment, but it still sonds nice as a solo :D

It is a relatively simple piece for my standard - but you have to start somewhere!

Feel free to rate and comment as you feel appropriate - and my camera has nice sound quality for anything none electric so you should not have a problem with annoying buzzes or rattles!

Enjoy!

  • I love how he sounds upset I love his face so CUTE!! :D

  • sounded very nice but being a cellist myself i picked up a few things. i think you could of been a bit smoother with the changing of positions, i think you should be more relaxed and let the sound flow a bit better and relax you left hand a bit more when you doing vibrato.

keep up the good work though :)

  • nice, but ur wrist seems to be to tense for vibrato, i suggest playing more relaxed, it looks as if ur working too hard

P.S. i had the same problem, just keep working at it and u will be great :D

  • i like how u look so in to it it makes u look like a real cello player keep it up

  • erm, =/ you need to work on your vibrato, im not trying to criticize you but your vibrato is pitiful. Try using doorbell vibrato xD. You need your vibrato slower..and plus your intonation needs some work too. Anyways try smaller steps and dont use vibrato yet. Until you master it atleast

  • Yeah, you seem tense, just relax, if you do research, you'll find the more relaxed you are the better you sound (all exceptions aside) + the peace calls for a little more dynamics and a slower paced bravado, the synonimous bravado made it seem a little rushed, but that aside excelent piece and you have me as a subscriber.

  • aww that was awesome!! keep it up ;D

  • Nicely done! I just bought this piece =)
