How to get this tone?

I love how everyone is bashing this. "too many harmonics, not the one from the record, etc." Shut the hell up people and just enjoy good music. This isn't John Petrucci we are talking about here. This is Slash. Slash never played anything the same way twice in his life. I'm sure he doesn't care how close anyone got to the original on an instructional dvd.

Nice, very good...but the solo is bigger than this!!Why did you not make as the appetite for destruction or live version?!
-
way too many harmonics in there

@TheMariusDuaas it is something called improvisation

GUYS. It's from the song! It's played during the fade out, if you listen past the vocals and rhythm section. -_-

@meekinator03 Hi there, Your house name will be if you have a name for your house, and the number is the number on the front of your house... Unless you live somewhere which doesn't have a house name ornumber? If you don't have a house name just leave it blank but normally people have at least a house number. i.e 1 Licklibrary Road....

@licklibrary hey I love these lessons and would have already bought a couple of DVD"s but I live in the U.S.A. And it says something about the dvd format on your website.will they work on USA DVD players?????? :)
guitarman1281 10 months ago
@guitarman1281 Hi there, thanks for getting in touch, well the DVD format for the US is NTSC. Not all our DVDs are available in NTSC - however the PAL versions of our dvds do play on computers / laptops etc as those dvd drives arent defined by format. Unless your DVD player is a multi format dvd player, unfortunately watching them on your computer is your only option. The format of each DVD is shown beside the description on the DVD's product page. Hope that helps!
