An Ink Spots classic from 1940 - I like to sing this whenever I start to take myself too seriously as a singer. It's a fun song, and I've included a nod to the wonderful comedy duo of Don Estelle and Windsor Davies.

  • Jim, Stumbled on this looking for Lowdens. Incredible!!! What a great tune. They haven't made this kind of happy music in decades, and I thank you for posting this. Nice playing and singing. Very, very nice!!!

I have a rather new F, but your vintage Lowden sounds sooo good!

  • Cheers SD - it's a great song and fun to play and perform; be sure to check out the Windsor Davies and Don Estelle version if you've not seen/heard it before. Congratulations on being a proud Lowden-owner!

  • There's nothing quite like a Lowden. Lovely.

  • Too true - and thank you!

  • HI Jim,

Have you done a CD???? I would gladly buy one as I consider you to be an excellent musician with a nice voice and wonderful ability to express your talent in music.

    Regards ,

  • That's a fine compliment Glenn - thank you sir! If I ever move my ass and record that CD (my son keeps reminding me to get on with it) you will get the 1st copy free.

  • Great job, Lofty. Regards and thumbs up.

  • I bought my LSE1 from the Bangor workshop and my 032 from the Newtownards workshop. Lovely guitars.

  • Yes - but it pre-dates the O32 model numbering. It was made by George Lowden in his original Bangor workshop in 1987; Walnut back & sides and Cedar top. It also pre-dates the split bridge pin that has become Lowden's trademark.

  • grand job ! An 032?
