...this is very cool. an upside down rocket stove. does the heat come off the pipe? would the plan be to put thermal mass around the pipe?

look at "thermal mass rocket stove". it's pretty much the same, without an electricity need, and a thermal mass heat exchanger. the draft is created naturally with convection using a barrel, that also acts as a complete burn of gases.

are you dumb? can you not speak? wtf am I looking at? where does exhaust go? what keeps embers from shooting out? in case of power outage, your house fills with smoke or catches fire.

You've got the basics... you now need a heat exchanger to extract the useable heat and expel the dangerous gases...

@definca I imagine the temperatures are too high here to make a proper bong. it would destroy any useful chemicals rather than alkalize them.

Where are you doing this? Is it an enclosed space? Where do the combustion gasses go? Looks like you're pretty handy, don't gas yourself.

I run my machine on my balcony and the combustion gases go outside. That´s just one part of the whole project.
