i was part of that crowd sitting just to the left of the posts! such a tense feeling when Giteau was lining upp kick. But the sheer joy afterwards :D

LorcanHurley,
How was it a "bad win" we were massive underdogs yet fought Oz to the end and won. Now we could play that game over 100 times and lose another 99 times.
But 22 Scotsmen stood up against one of the best teams in the world and won and for that I am proud.

Me too!

Giteau had a shocker!! its goin to happen now and then i guess. more training needs to go into how to execute a try, cause there was plenty of chances could have been 30 - 9, on another day. fair play to scotland for playing a tight game and knowing their limits
Still think the future is bright for wallabies with such a young team only going to get betta, hopefully right on cue for RWC 2011!!.

The IRB are controlled by those tossers in the Home Unions who want to make rugby as dour and as slow as possible so that they can compete with the fast-paced; 100mph game that is played in the southern hemisphere. The game of rugby is the worse for it. It is a boring kickathon at the moment, and it is a disgrace that the IRB caved into those arseholes up north.

But that's the catch 22 isn't it. Most people like to see attacking rugby which requires excellent ball skills and a bit of flair hopefully leading to tries.
The current rules encourage defending.. and winning by penalty goals and drop kicks.
i am happy for u scots
its been a while and well deserved
victory. yes giteau missed but he missed
coz of the pressure put on him by the scots. well done

That was one of the best rugby games i've ever seen just so tense and every point was made to count. Couldn't belive Giteau missed thought he would of scored for sure knowing the luck of the Scots. And sure the Scots didn't score any tries but what was the score again? Scotland 9 Australia 8. If you play the game fair then it don't matter how you win as long as you win.
