There is a misunderstanding that science is supposed to be 100% accurate. If that caller knew anything about science, he would know that very few things, if any, can be predicted with 100% accuracy. As a matter of fact, most scientists, engineers, and philosophers believe that a good argument is one that is falsifiable. There is always a small degree of error in scientific theories, that does not make the theories invalid.

These two aren't messing with peoples minds, they're more like un-tangling the mess that religion has left them in. Religion replaces questions with more complicated questions where-as science replaces the questions with understandable answers.
