Head/Cam Pontiac LS2 GTO vs Head/Cam/Stall Chevy LS1 SS Camaro. Sounds like a lousy excuse, but this was the first drive in 5 months for the GTO. The ethanol they put in all the gas now, saps water out of the air and ruins the gas for high compression engines. It wouldn't rev past 5500 RPM in this video without missing. After we drained the tank, and added fresh gas, we were back to 6700RPM as usual. Lesson: If your performance car is going to sit through the winter, drain the tank first.

  • Damn I really thought the camaro would pull.. 6.0's are no joke

  • @f34rthe4banger That Camaro is a beast (just listen to it), but the GTO made 470 rwhp with fresh 93 octane.

  • Is that a fake 35th??? Jw still looks good...just noticed the stripes exhaust and wheels were different

  • @ja84reyna

He's changed the wheels, and added the stripes. I never thought about it, but you're right, all 35th Anniversary Special editions came stock with stripes. The exhaust tips have also been changed to center.

  • @zanrath12345 I have faced it, lucky I can still fix then as long as they're uni-body frame doesn't fall apart were good ;)

  • Face it... :( LS1 Camaros are getting old.... Newer LS2 LS7 etc. leave the LS1 in the Shed. I love 4th gen camaros to death but Im starting to realize those cars are now almost 20 years old. and now they start to have problems and break down and ugh how i wish it was just barely 1999 again. I wish they could just start making the 4th gen bodies again with newer LS series motors in them.

  • the new gto may not have been the best looking car ever but the 6.0 kicked some major ass!

  • @nitrojunkie1029 nope, ws6

  • @gixxerfanatic Nevermind. Kinda looked like one with the black tail section.

  • BERGER SS CAMARO?
