That's cause by default, 3G is enabled. If turned off. it should last all day as long as long as you're not too much of an internet junkie. go to "preferences" "general" "network" and where it says "Enable 3G" Slide it to "off". And it will increse battery life by hours, even days.

yes, when you go to buy the iphoneyou have to pay for the phone, and plan and applicable fees.

well, I actually bought a 16 GB, so I don't know about the 8 GB, but if you have a large music libary, I suggest to get a 16 GB or wait for a 32 GB when it becomes avalible.
