Lois has secretly carried her and Clarks baby for the full nine months. When the times nears for her to give birth she begins to rethink her decision to go it alone. She then goes to the only person she can think of that will not condemn her for her past, Marth Kent.
Martha understands her predicament and mistakes but explains to her that Clark has the right to be there. Martha calls Clark and tells him that he will soon be a father and he rushes over to the hospital. Clark tells Lois she has a lot of explaining to do and tries to understand her latest decisions. Lois explains to Clark that she was confused and scared but now realizes she made a mistake. Clark forgives her and they agree to take things slow once their child is born. During birth there are some complications and Lois does not make it. The Kents agree that it is best for the baby to come home with them for the time being. Clark grief stricken and angry begins to change for the worse. Everyone tries to get through to him but he continues to chase everyone off. How will Clark cope with this tragedy and what will happen to their new baby, to be continued
