That's NYC in the 1980s. Homeless men sleeping on the streets, right on the sidewalk.

There's one making his bed in the shadow of the USS Intrepid, a tribute to our great democracy's might of arms and armies. There's another one, passed out on the sidewalk across the street from Madison Square Garden.

Bloomberg cleaned the streets up and sent the homelss to sleep at the Armory. You can't have that sight wrecking it for the tourists in new "New York as Disneyworld" version.

That's disinformation, although I think Bloomberg to be an a-hole, the streets were cleaned while Ed Koch was mayor and David Dinkins et al...That's when Times Square ceased to be the great melting pot of heathens that I wish it were still today..
