  • If u can just work on this one thing....it will change ur life. Patience has it's many rewards. u know Job.... He was Gods favorite. God allowed satan to take everything but his life away & Job never cursed God. His reward for all his years of suffering - he got everything back x3, AND, he lived an additional... 140 yrs. He wasn't exactly a young guy himself at the time. He was already rich & got richer after his test.. faith.

We learn to strengthen our faith in the time we wait on God/Jesus.

  • @PHXGirl23 I'm not sure if you see this, but you are using a circular argument. I believe the Bible to be fiction, yet you are trying to use the bible to convince me. If you can come up with a non-biblical reason for me to believe in god (that outweighs all the other reasons i have NOT to believe in god) then I will be convinced.

  • That is why Jesus is a servant. Power is in serving others, not urself. In the world, power is others serving u. ur true strength is found in ur weakness and asking God to help you because you are weak. In that weakness and in that moment of humility, you are powerful. God mocks the fools who think that strength is all powerful. And that is why his world works in opposite of the world. To show the world, God is alive and well. It keeps you humble but it gives you more strength than the world.

  • @PHXGirl23 Wow... someone has some time on their hands, but I will take the effort to respond to every single comment left by you.

  • @ginger0215 How about we do a little trade. I have been subscribed to TheAtheistAntidote for awhile now. I did this in order to better understand where Christians are coming from. How about you subscribe to TheAmazingAtheist in order to get a better idea of where I am coming from. I am by no means demanding it; to be honest, I'm just curious to see how a devote christian (who is clearly open minded) would respond to a brutally opposing view.

  • The Bible says in Genesis 1:24-31 that all land animals (so that includes dinosaurs) and people were created on the same day. The geologic record clearly shows that the large dinosaurs died out at least 65 million years before humans showed up on the planet.

It’s been 2,000 years. Figure it out. The Bible is just old myths and legends, not truth. Religion is like history class - without the facts.

Google K-T boundary to see how we know that large dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago.

  • I am an atheist, too. During high school, it seemed like I was the only one who didn't believe in an afterlife, a soul, or anything else supernatural. Years later, I started finding fellow ex-classmates online, and lots of them felt the same way during high school. We were just afraid to say anything or we might be the only one. There are millions of us in the United States alone. About a fourth of Americans between 19 and 29 are atheist or agnostic now, and growing. Google

  • so in the end, it's easier and more comfortable to believe there is no God. Because we all like to rebel, even against God. its more fun, it makes worldly sense, and frankly, it's just really easy. It takes displine to make wise choices because it feels really good to act on our emotions and do what feeds our egos. we love to judge others. Others judge us and we feel entitled to be offended. christians spend a life time unlearning all those choices. wisdom does first what it will enjoy later.

  • @ginger0215 Its easy to follow main stream values/ the world. it's everywhere. Media, advertising & even the classroom. Unless it's pointed out to u, it's actually really hard to know the difference between the world view and a christian world view. Not even many christians can do that because we are not taught in our faith 2 think through what is said to us by the world. It's so easy to accept things, when u live in a society where worldly advice is so common, not follwing it, is uncomfortable.

  • @ginger0215 In christanity, we are here 2 relearn what the world teaches us. God is in straight contrast 2the world. If u look 2the world for approval, they will tell u, God is dead. Infact u can look at what the bible values & look at what the world values- they are opposite. The world view: All power is with in u. Christian world view: Lean on God not your own understanding. You can look it up. But if your looking to feel better about your choices because the world agrees, that's not God.

  • @ginger0215 u got ur ideas from some where right? u choose believe what u read or u choose 2 reject what u read. What most people do not challenge is why they choose 2 believe what they believe. If u believe there is no God, what u holding on too that makes no sense to u, if you changed ur belief system? You hold on to a lie, in ur belief system that u can't reason to let go, because it means a lot to u. Some don't want to change lifestyle, what they do, how they feel, how they treat others.

  • @ginger0215 Its not more circular than yours. I believe what I read. You believe what your told.
