I would try toward the rear first Ive always gotten a higher number facing the rear I got a 140.5 the other day with a powerbass2000d But it wasnt even turned up on the amp !

yeah i have always hurd toward the back...but with it in the back seat faceing the trunk and the air going right into it idk...i will try it though...and ill get my car on a meter soon as i get everything done

yeah i will..i had them in but with where the ports where bc i hadnt taken the seats out yet they were right behind the headrest so all the air went back..was louder but not as loud as it can be
