  • @Cdefreesfunnystuff foremans the guy that ran the miner for 2nd shift made 45 an hour with his shift differential. foremans, mine supervisors and mine superintendents do pretty well tho

  • @Cdefreesfunnystuff depends on the company. If youre working for a contractor you wont make as much. Usually you start off with a base pay of 10-20 an hour. a lot of companies do shift differential pay. where i worked inexperienced miners made 16 an hour and the differential was $2 more for 1st and $4 more for 2nd and 3rd. You get it if you have perfect attendance for the pay period. Then you get paid based on the equipment you run.

  • to those who hate mining and are still doing it, QUIT, move away to somthing else so those who would enjoy the job can have a chance to do what they have dreamed of since they were little. Stop crying about "your choice" and be proud of what you do

  • its not just because its the only choice we have its because we enjoy it and wat it pays.I was in the military and got out just simple because i luv minin coal
