New Imac 27 Inch Has been Ordered

I just ordered my New 27 Imac 2.8GHZ 8GB Ram, 1 TB HD, ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB Ram from Apple. The Ship date is November, that is all it say's is November. The other Imac's say 2-3 business days but this one is a long way out.

Just an updated: My Imac has arrived in Anchorage, I am now just waiting for Fedex to deliver it. I hope the deliver it tomorrow. That would be awsome, it could be here for the weekend. My hope is to do an unboxing video.

ordering my iMAC when my paycheck arrives.This is also my initial switch from PC too MAC, i edit,record,mix music, and from what I've seen, mac is the path too choose.Though, could you enlighten me on your thoughts as too what made you got the i7 and 8gigs, just curious. I think Im going to get the i7 but settle for 4gigs of ram, since my budget cant suffice for more.

I went with the 8 Gigs cause I believe I will be doing a lot of multitasking. I plan to get screenflow after my Imac arrives so my vids will look a bit cooler. Also to make some cool home movies for family and friends.

I also plan to dual boot with Windows 7 and play games on it. Along with all that I will be doing alot of network and remote application testing. I hope that answere's your question. Thanks.

hi there i have the early 2009 imac 3.06 ghz,640gb hard drive & 4 gb ddr3 ram,i only got it in mid april i was wondering if i upgrade the ram to 8gb would i really notice it any faster,its a lot of money to upgrade the ram,i can get the CRUCIAL 8gb for £460.00 uk pounds.can you help and advise.

This will be my Initial switch from PC to Mac. I will most likely dual boot the Imac with Windows 7. I was wondering about the date cause it only said November and no specific date.
