  • Amazing!

  • Wonderful...Brought tears to my eyes!

  • A female is too close to the microphone

  • SOOO GOOD!

  • @brandonwalker18 @SyddElisabeth @456704 I know for a fact that the singers were very excited to be there, and truly understand what they were singing about. When singing in Negro spirituals in the choral tradition, the interpretation is vocal; one sacrifices motionand facial expression for unity of sound. That is why the singers were so focused on the conductor, and why to someone who is not very familiar with the way spirituals are performed, it may seem as if they were disconnected.

  • They don't sound good lol

  • @brandonwalker18 Well, it's very nice to be able to sing in the whitehouse, but if you wanted them to sing with true meanings of the negro spirituals, then the 'honor' to be in the whitehouse would have to be disregarded, but that's the reason why they are not singing with emotion I believe, because they are there, and it is streotypical to believe that too much 'movement' will offend some people. Look at their other videos if you want to believe them, they are more than what you expect.

  • awesome sound but singers look like they dont want to be there. It is indeed an honor to sing in the white house. its honor an honor to sing these negro folk songs. the interprtation has been lost. soloist was only one I believed throughout the wole piece!

  • I just listened to them sing it here in Jamaica. OMG. Very well done here and even sweeter LIVE.

  • I DUN DUN
