1994 VW Golf & Jetta Getting Started

This is the cassette that came in the glove box of your 1994 Volkswagen. The cars shown seem to be early 1993 models (note the idiot lights in the cluster, US spec cars normally have the printing on the back side of the plastic so you can't see the symbol unless the light is on).

Not my work of course. Presented for the enjoyment of VW enthusiasts everywhere :)

"The Most Loved Cars in the World" was the brief and unsuccessful ad campaign between Fahrvergnügen and Drivers Wanted. I know the early Mk3 Jettas came with the European Vento dashboard, but I don't recall seeing that instrument cluster. And the "service reminder" feature must've been dropped early on, because it probably confused people more than it helped (especially with "oel" in German!). They soon gave up pronouncing it "VolksWAHgen", too.

@vwestlife All the OBD1 Mk3s have the service minder. The "Driver's Wanted" campaign is still one of my favorites... way better then this one.

I've never driven or owned a Volkswagen. So it's fun to learn about Volkswagen and what new features the new cars has.

i'm still trying to figure out what kinda golf mine is. it's 2door got a power sunroof like that, alarm system and it's a 1994 lol

I find these features more amusing and cooler than whatever Volkswagen and other car manufacturers offer now.
