  • Thanks for posting. I have 555 work, but the 74HC164N doesn't work. I connected power supply to it through pin 14 and pin 7. the input coming from pỉn of 555 go into the pin 8 of 74HC164N, pin 1 and 2 grounded thru 10k Resistors. But then nothing going out from either pin 3 or 4 or 5. Am I missing anything, I just copied your circuit 100%. Thanks
