  • I have a 1997 Vulcan 800A That looks almost exactly like yours but still has the stock pipes on it, I would love to change them with either Cobra or Vance and Hines and change the air box with the Hyper charger like you did, Yours sounds and looks awsome, mine unfortunately still sounds like a moped. Nice Bike !! Gotta love them Vulcans ............ :-)

  • @mnza2001 I would definently suggest getting equal length pipes, every bike I hear thats not sounds a little off or sickly.

  • what other mods?

  • has the Hypercharger with K&N filter, vance and hines drag pipes, upgraded to stage 2 jets, has thunder tank mounted ignition, intake and everything is polished, have baron 1.5" drag bars with Baron Tach. and the mirrors are custom also AND I CANNOT FIND WHAT THEY ARE, because i need to replace one.

  • @chromeplated500

i have VN800 that i bought a month ago the dealer says in 2000 but i really cant find any thing confirms this ..... my VIN : VN800A - 059077 i really can't decode this ....

your help is much appreciated .....thanks

  • @kastolia Im pretty sure that on the front neck of the frame (facing the fron tire) is a decal showing the vin along with the year and model number. check that and lemme know what you find.

  • @abarnes330 Exactly! I have a 1999 vulcan 800a with Vince and Hines Exhaust and a hypercharger same as the video with many more mods to add but to be honest, I can keep up with any HD and I can pass many too. I can easily pass my father's vulcan 900." Vulcan riders are a rare breed, but Harley riders are a dime a dozen!"

  • theyre Highway hawk Techglide model part #494-601

  • Forward Controlls are from Highway Hawk FYI

  • There are no baffles, I think they are called the straight shots, so all they really do is direct the exhaust a little
