Alessandra Celletti plays Erik Satie's "Gnossienne no. 1"

This is BY FAR my absolute favorite rendition of Erik Satie's first Gnossienne. It isn't too fast and the appogiaturas are somewhat ignored. It sounds a lot more somber and mysterious this way, and I think it is a much stronger interpretation of it.

This rendition is found on the soundtrack for Guy Ritchie's film "Revolver", starring Jason Statham.

The pianist is the incredible Alessandra Celletti. I have a bunch of Satie and Scott Joplin music here, and obviously I have my personal favorite renditions. I keep finding out that hers are usually the ones I pick. She has released a couple albums with original music, and they're pretty good too. @Glasyabolas666 Yup. I think her playing some notes inidvidually that were originally meant to be played at the same time, playing some pieces faster etc. really improved the music.
