This is what will be said after the credits on Grand Theft Auto 4

the american dream, the immigrant nightmare. that's what the game, very skillfully, dissected. it's a social criticism of american culture too. the vapid materialism, the greed, the facade. niko chased the dream and all he actually hasnt won. there is no winning, that's the beauty of the game. niko losing something in every outcome.

GTA4 story is pretty poignant when you think about it. Niko is a troubled man wanting vengeance for what happened in his past. The more Niko achieves this in the game, the more he hurts the people around him that are in the present. This is why Kate or Roman dies. After killing Pegorino, he says "this is the victory we longed for" which plays on the fact why he went on the path of crime in the first place. To help his cousin free of debt and shady characters. Pegorino as the last mob boss alive.

I completed this the other day where kate dies(F**ing amazing game by the way) and after the credits she's alive but her phone number has gone from Nikos mobile. She still calls to go out on dates but Niko cant call her? She's not even listed in the stats.

i heard from someone that in the end, you get a call from mallorie if roman dies saying she is gonna have his kid with Niko promising to her "You will never have anything to worry about"

if Kate dies, Roman calls you and tells you he and Mallorie are having a kid and if it's a girl, they will name her Kate

i beat the game myself but never saw that on my own, my friends beat it just recently and told me about it
