Mercury is the 2nd most toxic substance on Earth, after Plutonium. Your defense of this in childhood vaccines is shameful, and the industry "studies" purporting to vindicate the criminal practice is corruption in the worst way.

Your statement that "in previous years, no vaccine containing thimerosal was licensed" for older children is a total fabrication. DPT contained mercury and was given to older children. Meningococcal and tetanus shots also contained mercury. All of this is a smokescreen anyway, for the damage done to infants who received multiple doses of mercury-laced DTaP, HiB, and hepatitis B vaccines, often simultaneously -- at levels 50-100 times safety levels! This is the gist of what you defend.

Regarding mercury-free versus mercury-laced flu vaccines, I am more than happy to inform people that they have a choice; I tell them all the time. However, many doctors only carry multi-dose vials (with mercury), and people requesting mercury-free don't always have that option. Once in the doctor's office, they are intimidated into getting whatever is available (mercury-laced). 4 of every 5 doses nationwide are mercury-laced. It makes more sense to remove the mercury from ALL vaccines.
