Finished Disc one just now, haven't experience these long loading times, but I have installed to my hard drive, so I highly recommend that. Also keeps the Xbox quiet, so yeah.

@GeneralZidane i havent even seen a load screen, it goes black for a second or two then its back nor have i seen any frame rate drops... but hell this guy gave a shit review for nier which is also a very good game

I feel the same. Whats wrong with this reviewer.. he makes It like good old school rpgs with a fresh feel were evrywhere this gen.. when in fact they were nowhere!..barren..ZILCH.. world said screw role players just make them all dress up & talk in world of warcraft & charge then for portions of some kind of a story called quests.. lets make "mainstory" a buisness too after we sell them the disc game.. they'll get indoctrinated/brainwashed like Facebook!

@skweejal Free roaming is a lot more flowing and means more choices for characters, but game designers are purposely designing their combat systems like the ones from the Final Fantasy franchise. The nice thing about turn based is that it allows the gamer to use far more strategy than a masher does in a battle. You design a battle plan around the characters and their skills. It does slow things down considerably, however. What is worse, you got to be a grinder to love a game like this.

@SmugDarkLoser I think he may not be a fan of the Final Fantasy franchise, that’s all. He seems pretty smart. I think he likes games like Mass Effect and Assassin’s Creed 2 more. Have you tried Red Dead Redemption yet? I got a copy last week. It’s really fun. I think it will appeal to all types of gamers. The same people who did Grand Theft Auto games and Bully did this one.

heh that whole timing with the ring system sounds like a nice touch but since I sucked at timing my Additions in Legend of Dragoon I don't think I'll fair all that better with this game in that department
