Vital is a Japanese film, made in 2004, by cult director Shinya Tsukamoto about a medical student who is desperately searching for his memories that were lost, along with the life of his girlfriend, in a car accident. Can Hiroshi regain his memories? Will he find out who his girlfriend really was?

  • I remember renting this once a long time ago thinking it was going to be a horror movie and because I'm a big fan of Asano. Certainly wasn't expecting it to make me cry little bitch tears.

  • @greyfox129 REALLY knock on wood for that one! But again, a non horror movie with such graphics is unlikely in the States. 2004 was a LONG time ago, it would have been done already. No Tsukamoto films remade yet, is this some sort of miracle? ;)

  • I thought the movie was going to suck but when my buddy burned it for me I was surprised how good the movie was. Hope they don't remake it.
