What happened in Nazareth?

We're here in Nazareth and we're at the Nazareth Village. It's a recreation of what it might have been like in Jesus' day and it's a reminder to us of the boyhood home of Jesus. This is where He grew up before he left to start His ministry. Then He moved to Capernaum. This is where the angel came to Mary, the angel Gabriel came and announced the good news that there would be a Son born. And this is the city where Jesus lived and worked as a carpenter, and then He left after He read the scroll from the prophet Isaiah, and He said that "these words are now fulfilled in your hearing." At which point the people wanted to throw Him over the cliff and stone Him, but Jesus walked away. So this is the city of Nazareth.
