  • Wow... You all are morons. Detroit is by far the most popular and successful team in the NHL the last 15 years. Did you ever think that the empty seat at the Joe are from Corporate assholes who take clients to games and do not even care about the game and they dont give their tix away when they dont want to go to the game????? no you didnt because you are all fucking stupid.

  • Has anyone forgotten that Michigan is in a terrible position in terms of jobs and income?? The average blue-collar worker (like myself) just can't afford tickets because of the poor economy Michigan is facing at the moment. That is the root cause for the empty seats. It's not our lack of support for the team. The Wings have made the playoffs now, what, 18 years straight. That level of consistency is currently the longest streak in ALL of North American sports.

  • How are there empty seats in the stadium? Looks sold out to me.

  • @paranoidandroid3232 AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TICKET SALES MEAN NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! some arenas hold less people than some teams sell tickets on an average night. Detroit's economy is SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! they cant afford tickets. its that simple. Just because people dont attend games doesnt mean they dont have 587356865976675787568736458970867 fans watching at home, or listening to it on the radio or even checking the score every 20 min on their cell phone like me since I dont live in Detroit.

  • @moonspellfan666 LOL, reproved? hahahahaha. Have I seen a Pens jersey out side of Pittsburgh? LOL!!! Ya, I've see a few Crosby jerseys around, seeing as its the #1 selling jersey in the league! Anyway.......again, like I said before. Look at ticket sales and merchandise sales, then come back and argue with facts, not opinion.

  • @paranoidandroid3232 Ticket sales mean nothing if the people cant afford the cost of a ticket? Every NHL arena you go to you see about as many wings jerseys as you do the home teams jerseys.... at least from the arenas iv been too. Columbus, Chicago, St. Louis, Rangers, Nashville, Dallas. How often do you see a pens jersey outside the city of shittsberg? or a rangers jersey outside of new york? Everywhere I go I see something Red Wings. After reproving my point, YOU are still the moron.

  • @moonspellfan666 Detroit is by far the most popular? look at tickets sales and merchandise sales.

    Now who is the moron?
