You know, this would make a heckuva tune transcribed for solo fingerstyle guitar. The original bass line digs a hip groove 2 miles deep.

Great musicians and musicianship! I like how they added some mystic to
the arrangement; but I definitely wish Alias had come more forward with the percussion and added more of a beat to it.

too cheesy ... no groove .... no beat .... but no discussion about the category of the musicians. Anyway, it was just a jam session live on tv, something you don't see these days even if we have hundreds of tv channels to pick from ...

very unusual clip. not only for the ensemble of the musicians involved but also that Sanborn is playing soprano saxophone here not alto.
