Leopoldo Pérez Robledo (harpsichord and organ maker, www.leopoldoperezrobledo.com) shows a muselaar virginal he buitl after an original instrument by Iohannes Ruckers (Antwerp, 1611). The soundboard temple painting and latin moto was done by Karina Kohoutek. The rest of decoration was done by Daniela Fernanda Pérez and Natalia Pérez Leidemann, who also colaborated in the virginal building with Karina Kohoutek and Matías Crom. The music played by LPR are a version of Liebster Jesu wir sind hier choral and a hungarian transdanubian dance (dunántuli ugrós), using the Arpichordium stop in the first part and taking advantage of the short octave C/E for the bass line. .
Have known Leopoldo for years and played his instruments in concert. They are REALLY good.
