@JamieAbbott15 I see where you are coming from, but the Disease is called Kleptomania and it is more of an addiction to shoplifting items of lesser value. A full scale bank robbery is on a completely different level than shoplifting.

@JamieAbbott15 Well ive only shopplifted once and it was a right rush, i can see people getting addicted to it just like the rush of gambling, anything what gives you an adrenaline rush can be addictive.

I wonder do God forgive people with this disorder?

@EthnicBeaute101 haha lol

if shop liftin is an adiction which its not but if it is does tht mean theres an adiction to murder, an adiction 2 rape, an adiction 2 vandalise, an adiction 2 beatin up peple? i cud become a serial killer and jus say 2 the judge i have an adiction 2 killin peple and cannot help it. 2 me tht jus sounds stupid. its the same wiv sexsomnia. thts an excuse 2 rape. all these so called adictions r jus excuses 2 get away wiv these crimes.

its not a real adiction. alcohol adiction is real, smoking adiction is real, drug adiction also real but shop lifting adiction is NOT real!

@guardianjuan I wish the cure was jail. I know someone who shoplifts and she doesnt' seem to fear that and of me, yeah jail is scary but is wrong

I've never thought of SL'g, except as a kid once for an ice cream : ) but I suggest my daughter does it as she appears with tons of make up in multiple colors, when she makes not a lot of money, I may be wrong too--but I can't get over how people take the risk,--and of course I just don't want to own anything that is not mine
I know what it's like being addicted to shoplifting. I was a shoplifting addict for 10 years and have been gratefully in recovery since 1990. Terrence Shulman, The Shulman Center
