Karl @ 2010 Callaway FCG World Championships, Age 8

Age 8. Karl Vilips playing in the final round of the 2010 Callaway FCG World Championships. Played at Doubletree Golf Resort in San Diego, California in February, He was competing in the 8 Years & Under Boys division.

The high quality final grouping included 2-time world champion Alex Pak, previous world champion Brett Sodetz, and of Karl as the current US Kids 7 year old World Champion.

Karl started the day 3 strokes behind Alex Park and played bogey-free golf to get back to level with him by the end of play. The resulting playoff was the longest that Future Champions Golf has had. Alex eventually prevailed to take his 3rd World Championships.

looks like he made some swing changes over the years. It looks a lot more compact and clean. he hinges his wrists early thats pretty cool to see that at a young age. Most teachers don't like that. I love watching this kid it's very inspiring. KEEP IT UP KARL!!!!!!! WHOOOO!!!!
