This tower was not historic...It was built as a cheap amusement in the 70's...The idiot who built this thing should have been run out of town a long time ago...It never made any money and totally trashed what is the Sacred Ground at Gettysburg...I feel bad that your only memory of this battlefield is the Tower...Pretty shallow...You probably enjoyed the wax museum too...idiots...Go back to Niagara Falls....

This is the best thing that could have happened for the Sacred Ground at Gettysburg...This tower was an abomination...a cheap amusement that marred this wonderful scene...Now all can cross that shattered field of Pickett's Charge without the godforsaken eyesore in the background...

Thing is nobody cares about history or it was part of your childhood, if the majority of people want to get rid of it, they will. Some things have been demolished that was part of my childhood, but if people decided not to get rid of things because of being part of someones childhood, pretty much nothing would be destroyed.
