"Then she slammed to door in his face. It was genius." Haley said. She was re-telling the boys and our parents about what happened with Matt.

I saw my parents smile. I was guessing that they were happy we were getting along. I hadn't noticed until recently that I had blamed my sister for everything that happened with Matt and I felt bad. She was mean to me because that was her way of retaliating. I'm glad the wall between us was broken.

Joe seemed to be feeling better than he was last night at the charity event. He and Haley kept talking and It was cute. My parents were talking about the entertainment business with Kevin and Nick and I were flirting with his arm around me.

My parents went up to bed and the boys stayed to hang out. Joe, Kevin, and Haley were talking about some movie and Nick and I were just listening. There was a comfortable silence between us. Until he spoke.

"Do you want to go out tomorrow?" He asked out of the blue.

"Sure." I blushed.

"Great pick you up at six then." I smiled and nodded.

The night went on from there. There was flirting and some dares and even some pranks. Let's just say Kevin won't ever fall asleep during a movie with us ever again. The memory of Matt was all of forgotten and it gave me a freeing feeling that I couldn't get enough of.

The boys left at ten and Nick gave me a kiss on the cheek when he left. This was something everyone saw. As soon as we closed the door we heard Joe and Kevin teasing Nick about it and couldn't help but laugh. Haley and I stayed up a little bit longer [a.n. LOL.] just talking.

"So whats up with you and Nick?" She teased.

"He asked me out!" I squealed.

"No freakin way! That's so awesome! Wait, what are you going to wear?" She questioned.

"That's one of the problems." I said.

"I got it! This calls for a shopping trip tomorrow. When's the date start?" She asked.

"He's picking me up at six."

"Perfect we'll go at twelve."

"Sounds good, but if your going to get up that early you better get to bed." I joked.

"Ha Ha. Very funny. Do you want help or not." She joked back.

"Okay fine but- oh crap! I have school tomorrow! What do I do!" I said frantically.

"Easy. Just do school with me tomorrow. It's the same curriculum. Just tell Cass and you'll be fine. Or even better. Invite her along. The more the merrier. Just have her tell her parents." She said like it was nothing.

"Okay. It'll be okay for me, but I'll tell Cass to ask. I hope she's still up." I said and ran to the phone.

I called Cassie and told her the whole deal and she was in. Apparently her parents were okay with it as long as she finished the work. She was coming over at seven to get started so we could leave by twelve. We hung up and I ran to Haley's room where she was texting Joe.

"She's in. She'll be here at seven and why are you texting Joe so late?" I questioned.

"How'd you know it was him?"

"Because youre smiling like an idiot." I said.

She threw a pillow at me and I laughed while heading for the door.

"Night!" I called out.

"Night." She responded. I missed my sister. _________________________________________________________________________________
