I agree with you! Nowadays they are casting people who look nothing like greeks! Just like the TV show " Hercules" .....those people look nothing like greeks! Hamlin was such a great choice because he does look very greek....and, to play a greek hero the actor must look greek, of course!

The star Hamlin did a great job, and he actually looked Greek, unlike other earlier (and later) filsm set in ancient Greece.

actually the sirens are the women who lead men at sea to them with their music and then end up killing them gorgons however kill any1 that is brave to face them and end up turning them to stone with their gaze

Fucking amazing? Oh please, of the three gorgons she was the only one not immortal. Which is why Perseus kills her. Gorgons drew men to them with their beauty ( not represented well in this movie obviously), then they killed them. they are the mythical representation of femme fatale. A misandrist. That's why her hair and lower body is figured into snake portions.
