A Chat with the Director Irvin Kershner for a Pilot to an Arts Program we did called "ARTSMASH." We talked about everything from his early days to Jackson Pollock.

So sad to see Kersh go, but thought this should be shared. He couldn't have been more generous and kind.

  • He speaks the same way my Grandpa did.

Nice not to hear ''um''s and ''uh''s of today's speech, very refreshing.

  • he was a great man, but u shoulda got a tripod for the camera, this shacking and zooming ruins this interview.

  • Run raw footage through deshaker filter for virtualdub

  • holy fuck buy a tripod

  • @DaBossk He was very fulfilled in his life. He would not want you feeling sorry for him. He would be more concerned with you creating the next great thing with your time on this Earth.

  • @BWGgy He was very very particular about voice. He was bothered that many actors moved to LA and got lazy with their speech. He was very strict with me on my voice.

  • Sound like Yoda RIP man your movie will live forever

This guys soul is in Empire Strike Back, he's the real star of the film.

  • Another great soul has gone. : (

  • poor guy, he died ):::::::::::::::::: he made perhaps the best movie out of the original seires, which is without a fact, the greatest thing on this shitty earth. i love star wars!! !!

  • Thanks for sharing this. I've always admired the man. The Empire Strikes Back is my favourite film of all time. So sad to hear of his death. He was such an inspiration as a film maker and artist.

  • R.I.P Irvin
