  • Lyons was right - the other writers were wrong.

  • the way Teddy plys bass and all is called Stride, where you play bass, chord on the left and melody on the right

  • Not so. Teddy Wilson did not play "Stride" piano. Typical "Stride" pianists were James P. Johnson, Willie "The Lion" Smith and Fats Waller.
