how did he get to that level in the sport if he can't control a swinging hockey stick? It looked deliberate to me, & the second swing at the post was an afterthought. He should be suspended for at least a year for making reckless contact with the player's head regardless of whether it was deliberate or not. This player even has a history of violence & his behavior is still excused as an accident. Your sports administrators must be a bunch of neanderthals for not banning this player

@grindandmine2290 The fact that he swung his stick again and then left without giving a damn about the goalie writhing in pain - without so much as a 'are you okay?' or any sign of civility - makes me think that, accidental hit or not, Ballard is just a violent jerk.
