it was originally done by Harry Richman back in the 20's then covered by Frank Sinatra for the film "puttin on the ritz".

Dear Chris Westaway,
Hey, I'm Louie! I'm one of the Chappies with Carson and Taylor. You are a killer ukulele player and I love this cover. I also play the ukulele and am not nearly as good as you. I also went to UBC! Small world. When I grow up, I want to be more like you.

Nice vid, but I got a question.
I heard this song before, from a cartoon or something.
i wanted to know if you know where it's from.
I know it's a famous song, but I heard it from a cartoon or something before.

it's really famous, it's like a standard. it was written for the movie 'puttin' on the ritz' in 1930, if i remember correctly.
