Ughh, so here's the deal. My best friend moved school back in April, so obviously we haven't been able to talk all day like we used to. She got on skype last night and we spoke for a bit, but that day I'd also downloaded MikuMikuDance and was trying to get used to the new interface and all that -- meaning I was pretty unresponsive.
Here's what I don't get.
I set my status as the busy icon thing, wrote "messing with MikuMikuDance, won't reply fast," in the message next to my skype name, and even told her I was going to respond slowly due to this when she started the conversation.
Over two hours after she'd signed in, she had to go. Here's how the end of the conversation went.

Her: goodday
Me: goodevening
Her: goodnight
Me: goodbye? D':
Her: yes
Me: awwh Dx
Her: yeah right, don't pretend, that's what i hate about you sometimes.
Me: o-o w...t...f?
Her: we haven't even talked, so, you won't miss anything.
Me: WELL
Me: fine
Me: bye
Her: bye

All right. I've known this girl for like TEN YEARS. If I wanted her to go, I'd have damn straight cut the conversation and set my status to invisible.
And, contrary to what seem to be her beliefs, she's. my. best. friend. Not some bitch I hate and wouldn't even have in my skype contacts anyway. I wanted to talk to her. But if the girl who used to finish my sentences thinks I'm pretending, then obviously we're not close enough anymore.
And I really fucking wish we were.
