An argument outside of Washington University on the day of the VP debate '08 between a pro-life advocate and a pro-choice young woman regarding when a baby becomes a person and should thus be afforded to governmental protections typically given to a person.

@payasoinfeliz yes China has laws forcing abortion, you are really bad LOL. How can u say that? Ok the reason why pro-choice people dont use fetuses is because murderers have morals too, they kill human babies but they will never use them as soap or food.

@trifulquita15 given their scarcity in relation to other sources, thered have to be something very special about them for anything like that to catch on. maybe if fetus soap revolutionized anti-aging products... i could see that. its not easy to just use something for the sake of using it--it takes resources, and demand/revenue to justify those resources. if it were profitable, have at it. china reportedly sells supplements made of fetuses.

@payasoinfeliz fetuses have fat, society could use their bodies to make soap. Millions of fetuses are dumped into containers, a sincere pro-choice could say its a waste of resources, so why pro-choice activists dont want to use fetuses for industrial purposes?

@trifulquita15 do you know why most species are averse to consuming their own kind? because the more closely related to someone you are, the more susceptible you are to contracting diseases from them. eating embryos would have to be highly regulated to be safe. it wouldnt be worth it. doubt they even taste good. and youd need a bunch of em--theyre so tiny.
