@shunshine77 Ah, you're right. Wikipedia updated it to a 2011 Bloomberg article and I checked Billboard too. Mea culpa. Both Dark Side & The Wall are in the Top 10 and LZ's IV is #7. (It's OK to trust Wiki as long as you trust their sources. It's just regular folks looking stuff up on the Internet from Billboard, etc.)
Pink Floyd, The Eagles, Led Zeppelin & Fleetwood Mac have fared very well over time due to continual new fans. Thanks.

No, PF is #2. Go check the list of best-selling albums worldwide on Wikipedia. I normally don't trust Wikipedia, but the sources they've used for this are all recent.

@shunshine77 I didn't say they were #1 top selling (their LZ #4 is for them), I meant in the top-selling group, and then another album is in the top 25. God knows I've looked at those top-selling album lists. Unfotunately Shania Twain is way up there! The horror. Dark Side isn't #2...you're looking at a wrong/old list. There are bunch of lists, but you get the idea. The Eagles, LZ & PF are ahead of other 70s rock groups. The Wall is up there too. Thanks.

That's not right. The #1 selling worldwide album is Thriller by Michael Jackson, followed by #2 Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd.

@MagickZoso So agree w/ you. I decided that they are the #1 rock band & their legacy to new generations & still top worldwide selling album (LZ #4). Don't think any band has yet to surpass their work. Minor nitpick: their contribution was 12 years. First gig Oct 14, 1968, then Bonham died Sept 1980. But Page & JPJ had already contributed to significant bands being session musicians & Page w/ the Yardbirds. (:
