BOXER ARTURO GATTI MURDERED

According to reports from the Brazilian press, Arturos 23-year-old Amanda Rodrigues was taken into custody after she contradicted herself during a police interrogation. Prosecutors have yet to decide what she will be charged with.

Its still not exactly clear what went down, but witnesses reported to police that the couple fought and that the night before he was found murdered - Gatti was drunk. Authorities were told the couple was extremely jealous of each other and that Gatti constantly complained about her clothing when she traveled to Brazil.

The morning after the argument, Arturo Gatti, th former junior welterweight champion, was found in his hotel room dead. And MediaTakeOut.com learned that he was apparently strangled with the strap of a purse, which was found at the scene with blood stains. Arturo also sustained a head injury.
