Why can't Blue Ridge show some class? It's been almost 3 years...get over it. And "wahyeh", what kind of example are you setting for your kid(s)? We (THE 2005 AAA State Champs) were better and the scores showed it. A COC win is never guaranteed. Mr. Grant said that winning state with BRHS was great, but it will never compare to when he won it with Greer in '05. So stop making stupid excuses and move on with your life. GO GREER!

does anyone have 2007 for blue ridge posted? I'd like to see it... and i know most of the people from blue ridge would probably like to see your toughest competitors show Chapin :) look at my movies and you should find them

I have been involved with COC since 1997, so all I am saying is please don't ruin the class of this ensemble by dragging down some other school's accomplishments; all the kids at GHS did was work hard for something, and they were rewarded. Greer won in 05, and even if they hadn't showed up that day, what would have happened? BR would have still been third behind two schools. Did both of those schools get credited incorrectly for their accomplishments too? That kind of thinking is absurd.

OK I stand corrected-it was 2005 that GREER got credit for a win they should not have gotten. I don't care what was/is said they didn't win fairly! And considering I've been a CORPS OF CADETS band parent for quite a number of years I do know what I'm talking about.Any thing else you care to add?!

Ok, both of you are incorrect. First, the Corps of Cadets is just the name of the ensemble. The word "cadet" can also mean, the youngest son, and more appropriate here, a trainee or one learning a trade. As for BR winning the state title the last 6 years, that is very incorrect. They won 2A in 02,03, then 3A in 04, 06, and 07. BR finished fourth in 2005, so whatever band you think "really didn't win" in 05 (not 04 btw), you are incorrect. Don't talk about things you are not informed about.
