In Thailand, a security guard was attacked by a man with a large knife. Does this fight look like a stylized attack? No, not really. See how the fight goes.
I am sure that if he would have had training he would have fared a-lot better.
No, knife defense teaches you to keep your distance, and by all means using objects in the room is part of knife defense. Its not like just because you know knife defense you aren't going to use objects in the room to save you, but it could be the deciding factor between you getting stabbed, and him being disarmed.
@NeutralExistence ,He could do it.Some self defense doesnt hurt .But i doubt it has effect against a knife. You are more convinced than me.This crazy madman was even pretty lousy in his stabbing act.
I read a book ..maybe you know it.'How to become a mercenary written by "Paul Balor".He found it pretty suicidal to try fight someone who has a knife.I agree.Totally.
Sticks ,chairs throwing stuff yes.Not bare hands
One stab with a 8 inch blade knife in the chest and it's game over.
So you think it would be better just to leave him to try to learn for himself instead of spending the time to give him simple knife lessons? Really I don't understand your logic, or lack thereof in the least. You can still use the fucking hammer.... but having knife training will help you know how to keep your distances.
I really don't see what fucked up mentality would make you think training would negatively effect the guard.
