  • @Catfaceization Hey, I dont know where you got your facts but it only took Dave around 13 takes to do this song and the song is not flat...its sharp, you should really get a pair of ears...

  • I think this sounds well sloppy too, but, go listen to the "Backing track" you tube clip. Its just drums, bass and vocals. The bass fits perfectly to the drums. Which makes sense, he's following Dave Krusen, so what do you expect??? He was a very average drummer. It took him close to 70 takes to get this song in the studio. Read the PJ20 book. And in my opinion, that may have something to do with why the TEN version is slightly flat. Try playing along in perfect D.....

  • i guess if Jeff knew someone would separate the bass like this someday he would try to be more accurate... that unison on 0:12 is kinda odd... yet, one of my favorites bass players ever...

  • beauty bass line "unique"

  • what did you guys expect this to sound like? bass doesnt sound crisp in rock music when its played with a band. listen to the bass tracks of some other bands you like. its made to embellish the guitars and lock in with the drums while offering more dynamics to the song. who ever said it sounds untight, i would argue that its extremely tight. he's always perfectly on the 1

  • This is very offfffffffff

  • wow how sloppy is that?

  • @StraightPunkEdge93 I have always thought that! Just missing the killer Cornell vocals x)

  • @IveGotNothinToSay

Because most of the little runs he's doing are played super sloppy.
