If you look in the description you can see the actual size of the image. It's tiny that's why you can see the pixels.

You can try Gimp, or you could work in oekaki. I remember seeing a list of free software on the FA forums. I could PM the link to you if you like?

Depends on if you are using $ or not. At the moment the price has gone up to $67... -_-"
