After doing this exercise and comparing it to my old inflatable block, I find my knee/body more stable after using the block rather than the tower. The tower pulls way too much on my hamstrings and leaves me really uncomfortable afterwards.

How can Liba have degenerative hip pain when she probably is one of the most functional people in the Egoscue team?

Larisen969, I can't really speak on her specific issues but congenital issues can, I repeat, can eventually lead to issues later in life. Egoscue, as a daily program, will help a person be more "functional" and when done daily and correctly, will help your joints, muscles etc. maintain health through life. Diet is essential also...vitamix and mega doses of veges. Thanks for post. Egoscue

Sorry for the long delay in answering...DPmurley.
Dan, bend your knee at every level for about 1 minute. If the pain persists, switch legs every level as this will not subject your knee joint to the straight position for prolonged periods of time. Do NOT get the travel tower in place of the wooden one...the wooden one will control your ankle/foot much better.
