DUKE Fan All Wet For a Great Cause!!

Once again, being a Blue Devil fan did not pay off for US 98.3 News Director Marvin Davis. With the Tar Heels defeating Duke once again by the score of UNC 86 Duke 72 Sunday March 5, 2007, Marvin had to make good on his bet: to be in a dunking booth to raise money for the Granville County Relay For Life from 7:30am to 1pm Monday. With the water at a cool 56 degrees (provided by the Oxford Fire Department), needless to say the conditions were not ideal, but Marvin was a trooper (even though he went under a LOT)! Chick-Fil-e set up by the dunking booth and sold chicken sandwiches and sweet tea with proceeds benefiting Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society!!
